Here is true worship- delighting in our Creator who formed all that is around us and saved us to enjoy Him through it. Here we look deeply into Kilby’s resolutions:
I shall not fall into the falsehood that this day, or any day, is merely another ambiguous and plodding twenty-four hours but rather a unique event, filled, if I so wish, with worthy potentialities. I shall not be fool enough to suppose that trouble and pain are wholly evil parentheses in my existence but, just as likely, ladders to be climbed toward moral and spiritual manhood.
Life seems so mundane. Wake up. Shower. Work. Come home. Be with Family. Sleep. Repeat. But each day is a glorious chance at service to our Creator. God designed joy, pain, sorrow, gladness, suffering, and death for His pleasure. Each day has it’s troubles- we must take the stance of Job in all of them: “Shall we accept good from God and not accept evil?”
Each day is unique- a great gift from God with thousands of opportunities to share the news of Christ and preach His Word to all.
