Here is true worship- delighting in our Creator who formed all that is around us and saved us to enjoy Him through it. Here we look deeply into Kilby’s resolutions:
Even if I turn out to be wrong, I shall bet my life on the assumption that this world is not idiotic, neither run by an absentee landlord, but that today, this very day, some stroke is being added to the cosmic canvas that in due course I shall understand with joy as a stroke made by the Architect who calls himself Alpha and Omega.
There is no chaos in this world. Even when we go against His will, we are still, somehow fulfilling His ultimate plan. To say that there is chaos is to say that we serve a God who made all and stepped back to watch it die. But that is not our God! We serve an active, loving, charitable God- who saves by His own grace.
And if we are wrong? We are to be most pitied! There is nothing honorable about being a good Christian if there is no hope in the after life (1 Cor. 15). So we bank on the truth of what we believe.
